Welcome to Arncliffe Court Care Home in Liverpool, situated in the town of Halewood, seven miles from the city centre. We’re just three minutes’ walk from Hunts Cross train centre, on local bus routes and easily accessible from both the M62 and M57.
Our devoted and compassionate team care for Residents living with a range of needs, including dementia and Parkinson’s. Each one of our six Houses on-site shares the same warm, friendly atmosphere. Residents are immediately welcomed into our community and will find plenty of things to enjoy.
On our doorstep are all the amenities Halewood has to offer, including local shops, restaurants and parks. We support Residents to get out and about if they choose, plus there are plenty of activities going on at the Home if they prefer not to venture outside.
CARE FOR YOU
Person-centred care
Our ethos of person-centred care puts Residents at the heart of everything we do. We work in partnership with each Resident and their loved ones, to ensure they have an active role in decisions around their care. In doing so, we want to empower Residents to live the life they choose.
We believe Residents have a range of wellbeing needs that must be met. These include physical, mental, emotional, nutritional and spiritual needs. By choosing a holistic care approach, we give Residents all the support they need to feel safe, supported and independent.
Living life to the full
Our busy activities schedule means there’s something to engage and entertain Residents every day. The Activities Team concentrates on mental stimulation, increased mobility, sensory activities and social interaction.
The schedule includes everything from bingo to pamper sessions, quizzes to reminiscence sessions, arts and crafts to themed days. We also invite entertainers and community groups to visit us, and always welcome loved ones to join in the fun.
Dining and nutrition
Nutrition and good health are a priority for our Care Home in Liverpool, so we have a dedicated team of chefs to prepare fresh food on-site. Each menu is devised to incorporate seasonal produce, Residents’ favourite dishes and healthy options.
When Residents first arrive, they can share details of their favourite meals and any dietary requirements. If there are cultural or belief-based needs important to Residents, we will work within them to serve delicious, satisfying meals.
The B Happie Mission
Our mission to promote happy residents and happy staff is underlined by our groundbreaking ‘B Happie Charter’. We achieve these values by conducting person centred activities and events with a whole home approach, by recognising and appreciating the amazing work that our teams do and by prioritising mental health and wellness.
