Welcome to Hammerwich Hall Care Home in Burntwood, where we provide the very best person-centred care for Residents who have a variety of different care needs.

An impressive building, located in a tranquil setting, Hammerwich Hall is just under four miles away from the historic city of Lichfield city centre, with its beautiful medieval cathedral and places of interest. Conveniently located with good links to Walsall and Wolverhampton, we’re a popular choice for families in the area.

We’re part of a warm and welcoming community and we were delighted to be the first Care Home to join the local Places of Welcome initiative by Lichfield Council. As the 100th venue to join the scheme we’re proud to be doing our bit to extend a friendly welcome to all people, whether that’s for afternoon tea in our vintage tea room, or just to enjoy our landscaped gardens, Hammerwich Hall welcomes all.

Person-centred Care Homes in Burntwood

When Residents first move into our Home we work together with them and their families to create a personalised support plan that is tailored to their individual needs. Not only do we provide support for healthcare requirements but we take into account personal preferences, lifestyle wishes and goals. We listen to Residents and involve them in all decisions about their care, so that they are happy and content whilst living the life they choose at our Care Home in Burntwood.

care home activities

Living life to the full

Our Home is always a hive of activity and social events, thanks to our dedicated Activities Coordinator who ensures all Residents have the opportunity to take part in their favourite pastimes. Whether it’s our brain teaser quizzes, bingo or a gathering with friends for afternoon tea in our vintage tearoom, there’s always something to enjoy.

Residents can also indulge in a spot of pampering in our stunning hair salon. Decorated with images and throwbacks to the 1940s, Residents can reminisce on their favourite fashions and styles of the era whilst we help them to look and feel good.

social wellbeing

Nutrition and dining

Food is a vital part of wellbeing, and at Hammerwich Hall we pride ourselves on serving a varied and well balanced menu that helps Residents get the most out of life. Our chefs take into account Residents’ likes and dislikes and serve a selection of delicious and nutritious dishes across three meals a day. Our food is freshly prepared, using seasonal ingredients wherever possible and we regularly check-in with Residents to ensure they are happy with the selection on offer.

The B Happie Mission

The B Happie Mission

Our mission to promote happy residents and happy staff is underlined by our groundbreaking ‘B Happie Charter’. We achieve these values by conducting person centred activities and events with a whole home approach, by recognising and appreciating the amazing work that our teams do and by prioritising mental health and wellness.
