Memory Lane Cafe is opened in Netherton Green
Memory Lane Cafe was officially opened on the 1st June 2018 by the Mayor of Dudley and his wife. Residents, families and staff had a lovely afternoon celebrating with entertainment and light refreshments.
The staff themselves created the cafe and gave up their time to create a retro atmosphere which was focused on the age group of our residents to allow them to reminisce about times gone by.
The idea behind it was that our families with residents living with dementia found it hard to enjoy activities with their loved ones outside of the home our aim was to give them the opportunity to spend time off the units with their family members giving them a little normality.

Advinia is delighted to announce the purchase of 22 large nursing and residential homes from BUPA totalling 2714 beds. This is an exciting development that pushes Advinia into one of the top 15 care providers in the UK and is based on the successful operation of our current portfolio. It is satisfying to be able to invest confidently in the market where it has been clearly identified that there will be a lack of quality bed provision over the next 5 years.
Advinia Health Care is an experienced nursing and residential care provider. Privately owned, Advinia is undergoing a period of growth and this acquisition will expand its portfolio from 16 to 38 homes across the UK with 3250 beds, with plans to invest and develop further.
