Norwood Care Home Celebrates Nurse’s 60th Birthday with a Heartfelt Surprise

On Friday, 7th March, Norwood Care Home came together to celebrate a very special milestone — Nurse Jacqui Law’s 60th birthday. Although Jacqui had modestly requested that no fuss be made, the staff and home manager couldn’t let the day pass without showing their appreciation for her dedication and care.

Jacqui was met with a heartwarming surprise when she arrived at work to find a birthday banner displayed in her honour. The thoughtful gesture set the tone for a day filled with warmth and gratitude from her colleagues.

To make the day even more special, the staff at Norwood pooled together to treat Jacqui to a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers, which were delivered to the home. Alongside the flowers, she also received a thoughtful gift and a heartfelt card signed by the whole team.

“Jacqui is such an important part of our team,” one staff member shared. “She always goes above and beyond for the residents and her colleagues, so it was lovely to be able to give something back and make her feel special on her big day.”
