Roberttown Care Home Honours the Memory of Molly Wardman with Family’s Heartfelt Donation
1 April 2025

Recently, Roberttown Care Home sadly said goodbye to beloved resident Molly Wardman. Molly’s family arranged her funeral service on the 12th of March at Dewsbury Crematorium, where they chose to honour her memory in a truly meaningful way.
As part of the service, the family included a request for donations towards the care home’s resident fund in lieu of flowers. Thanks to the generosity of those who contributed, they raised an incredible £180, which will go towards enhancing the lives of residents at Roberttown.
Following the funeral, Molly’s family visited the care home to personally express their gratitude. They presented a heartfelt thank-you letter to the staff, acknowledging the exceptional care and kindness shown to Molly during her time at Roberttown. In their touching message, they shared:
“We cannot thank you and the staff enough for the support, patience, and reassurance you gave Molly and ourselves when she moved into Roberttown and settled so well. The love, care, and compassion shown when Molly became ill was outstanding. You all ensured she was comfortable and treated with dignity and respect, going above and beyond during a very difficult time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for providing Molly with a safe and loving home.”
This generous donation and heartfelt message serve as a testament to the dedication and compassion of the Roberttown team. On behalf of Molly’s family, we extend our deepest gratitude to the staff for their unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and comfort to residents.
