Ryland View Residential and Nursing Care Home
Ryland View is situated in the friendly residential area of Tipton, close to the town of Dudley. The home is made up of five well equipped specialist houses and surrounded by mature landscaped gardens with raised flowerbeds. Each house has it's own pretty, secure courtyard garden and furnished patio.
The layout and relaxed, homely atmosphere encourages all the residents to enjoy Ryland View in their own individual way. All our comfortable communal rooms, whether it’s a sunny conservatory or one of the welcoming lounges, offer the perfect space for residents to relax.
We try to plan something fun and engaging for our residents to do every day. We believe a varied activity program is a vital part of good care.
We encourage our residents to pursue their own interests or try something new. There's loads to do, and movement to music, arts and crafts, bingo and board games are always popular. Residents can also enjoy a bit of light gardening, cookery classes and painting. There are regular trips to the local garden centres, museums, and shops.
Local entertainers and the mobile library pop by often and we have links with local churches, community fundraising and volunteering groups. Our Community Connections team at Ryland View supports fundraising and volunteering. We regularly hold events with the local community, welcoming in local people who live alone to meet the residents and join in some fun activities. Friends and relatives are welcome at any time to join in the fun.
Upon arrival, a member of the catering team will be along to discuss any likes or dislikes, as well as any special dietary requirements. Our experienced chefs use fresh ingredients when preparing our delicious, well-balanced homemade meals.
All 144 of our well-furnished bedrooms, spread across our five separate houses, have wonderful views across the surrounding landscaped gardens. Residents can feel safe and secure in our comfortable and spacious rooms.
In order for our residents to feel more at home we encourage them to bring ornaments, pictures and even small items of furniture with them.
